It's All About Protection

It's All About Protection

During this last spiritual pregnancy, God had been dealing with me about protection, so I thought I was supposed to study Psalm 3 or Psalm 91. Nope. He had a bigger message for me. I was reminded of a word God gave me back in July of 2016:

Last night in my #UnlockingTheProphetic class (prophetic mentorship program), the Lord began dealing with me about birthing. I was confused because it's not September.  Then He said, "Remember, I was talking to you about protection.  Protection begins at conception, not at birth."

Technically, I could drop the mic right there and end this message, but there is something more that we must understand about protecting our baby. Everyone is spiritually pregnant with something.  Now, a few folks are saying, "No, not me." Well that's impossible.  If you are spending any time with God and you are a part of the Kingdom, you have something in you that God (at some point) wants to get out.  The problem with most of us is that we get to the point where we want to give up, so we don't carry anything full term to give birth.  We're out here having abortions, miscarriages and some more!

But God dealt with me in the prophetic class last night and I wanted to share this revelation with you.  Is that okay?

Revelation 12:1-6 AMP

The Woman, Israel

12 And a great sign [warning of an ominous and frightening future event] appeared in heaven: a [a]woman clothed with the sun, with the moon beneath her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was with child (the Messiah) and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.

The Red Dragon, Satan

3 Then another sign [of warning] was seen in heaven: behold, a great fiery red dragon (Satan) with [b]seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven royal crowns (diadems). 4 And his tail swept [across the sky] and dragged away a third of the stars of heaven and flung them to the earth. And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

The Male Child, Christ

5 And she gave birth to a Son, a male Child, who is destined to rule (shepherd) all the nations with a rod of iron; and her Child was [c]caught up to God and to His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that she would be nourished there for a thousand two hundred and sixty days (forty-two months; three and one-half years).

While there is a TON of revelation in this text (I mean...verse per verse there is a TON of revelation), the part I want to deal with is this: The enemy is not after you.  He's after your baby!

It is imperative in this season that you are doing everything possible to protect your baby! Some of us won't give birth because we can't carry full term.  And even still, some of us won't give birth because we are afraid! Nowhere in that text does it say that the red dragon attacked the woman. It doesn't even say that it touched her.  It says that he stood waiting for her to give birth so that he could devour the child

Don't allow fear being in the room to hinder you from birthing what God has for you!  Fear and intimidation kill more [spiritual] babies than anything else.  Are you going to allow the enemy to keep you fearful, intimidated, oppressed, depressed, and discouraged to the point where you don't give birth?

I will not lie to you.  I have had times where I was ready to abort a TON of things that I have birthed...even now, it is hard for me to birth this next project. YES! There will be pain. YES! There will be agony.  YES! There will be tears. BUT...verse 5 makes it clear. She gave birth!

So be encouraged today!  If it's time for you to give birth, bear down and PUSH! If you're almost there, just prepare and protect even now!

I’ll be sharing more on spiritual birthing in the coming weeks. Leave your questions down below.
